Crêpes

Who doesn’t love crêpes? They are so light and fluffy and can be filled with whatever you want. Sweet or savory, just a dusting of sugar, fruit or cream. They are pretty delicious all the way around.

I made crêpes for Kinnerly for lunch today. I spread a little Nutella in them.

I think this will be one of our staples…

  1. Do you have a good recipe for crepes to share? sounds so yummy. keep blogging. I am living vicariously through your posts!

    • I do have a great and super easy recipe for crepes, Michelle! Here you go:

      2 eggs
      1 cup milk
      1 cup flour
      2 Tbsp. melted butter
      2 Tbsp. sugar
Dash of vanilla (if you are going to make sweet crepes, leave this out if you want savory crepes)

Whisk in a bowl, melt butter in a non-stick pan pour a small circle of batter and either spread with a spoon or rotate circularly by hand until the crepe is smooth, thin and round. Flip and remove from pan. Butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar or raspberry jam or Nutella. Or, slice some bananas, add a little whipped cream and serve to the kids!

  2. I love crepes too Kinnerly!!!!! Im having fun looking at your Euro photos!!!- keep posting, so I can continue to drool in envy!!!

  3. thanks for the recipe, I will have to try them, I have always been intimidated by crepes for some reason. Your day on the island looks lovely, where will you be traveling this summer?
